People + AI Not AI - People πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Why?

Because even the best AI will fail if it doesn’t provide unique value to users.

And to find the value, you must start with a customers outcome and need, not with the solution.

This guide and workshop slides are created by People + AI Research (PAIR) a multidisciplinary team at Google that explores the human side of AI by doing fundamental research, building tools, creating design frameworks, and working with diverse communities.

The People + AI Guidebook that lays out some best practices for creating useful, responsible AI applications.

Here attached and for you to download is the workshop slides, so you can hold a workshop and explore how to create experiences with AI.

So to be clear, this is not a guide about you needed to be a prompt engineer πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ (what is that again) or about the best prompts.

It’s something to remind you that there is a human side that goes with AI, and that we need to be intentional abou how we design experiences so humans can use them and get the outcomes they need.

I don’t need to know how the car operates, I need a well designed car I can drive, that is easy, and that gets me to where I need to go.

So little is conveyed in AI about this in the feeds, because everyone is so solution focused.
