I read a post recently that said - "99% of people will ignore this"

I must say, that I have never been a fan of framing things in that way, which brings me to what the post is about.

Google has released a free learning path for AI, which is great for some people (if you want the link I can post it), but what people that post things like this are missing, is that most people need is things that are easy to use when it comes to AI and other such technologies.

Let me give an analogy:

Most people don't know how a car operates under the hood, what the engine does, how it works, or how all the parts work (though there are both mechanics and enthusiasts who love this part) - all they want is to be able to get in the car and drive and have a car that is easy to operate and that does not take lots of attempts to figure out how to drive it.

While there is lots of focus on AI Prompting and learning how LLM work (which soon will probably also be outside of the knowledge of even the creators) this is not an easy way for people to use the technology.

We have to remember that these technologies need user experience design and a large focus on behavior, to ensure that they are easy and attractive for the "99%" to adopt and use (for good of course) and so they don't stay in the hands of the "1%"
